AWC Foundation extends scholarship application deadline!
Greetings Matadors and the Yuma / La Paz Communities,
The AWC Foundation recognizes that the impact of COVID19 has extended well into our daily lives. The mission of the AWC Foundation is to make education universally accessible by removing economic barriers. We are committed to our students and our community to be responsive and agile as needs arise in these unprecedented times.
Because the AWC Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 that is funded through the generosity of our community donors, we are able to extend AWC Foundation Scholarship application deadline. Please note that the Federal Financial Aid deadlines (i.e. FAFSA) have not changed at this time, and we are a separate reporting entity. Therefore, students should continue to complete their FAFSA according to federal deadlines. Should you have questions about Federal Financial Aid deadlines please contact the AWC Financial Aid Department at:
Phone: (928) 344-7634
The AWC Foundation Scholarship application deadlines are extended to April 15, 2020 to better support our community and scholarship applicants. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions or concerns that may arise. It’s a great day to be a Matador!
