YFVA Presents $10K to AWC to Fund the Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Scholarship

Yuma Fresh Vegetable Association (YFVA) presented a $10,000 check to the Arizona Western College Foundation to fund the Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Scholarship.

Yuma Fresh Vegetable Association has been raising scholarship money for Arizona Western College students for several years. To reach endowment status for the Jacob Louis Daily Scholarship, the agriculture community set and met a $10,000 goal this year.  Major sponsors of the 2016 Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Golf Tournament were Crop Production Services, Fisher Chevrolet, The Catalyst Group and Wilbur-Ellis.

The photo was taken prior to the well-attended AWC Foundation Celebration of Scholars where Jennifer Daily-Loredo shared her brother, Jacob's story. The agriculture community is honored to celebrate Jacob's legacy with this endowed scholarship.
