August 25, 2021The BEA-lieve scholarship was created by our very own, Ana English, in memory of her sister, Beatrice "Bea" Garcia. Bea was a first generation student, the first to receive a Bachelors degree in their family. The scholarship is awarded to a student(s) to assist with costs of attending Arizona Western College.
This scholarship is supported by members of the AWC faculty and staff. Consider the BEA-lieve scholarship as your payroll deduction today.
Foundation launches Pitch In! Partner Campaign
April 19, 2017Join our community of givers who believe that college changes lives. Many of our students attend AWC part time while maintaining full time jobs and we want to see them succeed. Did you know that $500 covers a semester of tuition for a student enrolled part time? You can make a difference by becoming a Pitch In! Partner for scholarships. All Pitch In! Scholarships will be awarded during the 2017-2018 academic year and are 100% tax deductible.
YFVA Presents $10K to AWC to Fund the Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Scholarship
November 21, 2016Yuma Fresh Vegetable Association (YFVA) presented a $10,000 check to the Arizona Western College Foundation to fund the Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Scholarship. Yuma Fresh Vegetable Association has been raising scholarship money for Arizona Western College students for several years. To reach endowment status for the Jacob Louis Daily Scholarship, the agriculture community set and met a $10,000 goal this year. Major sponsors of the 2016 Jacob Louis Daily Memorial Golf Tournament were Crop Production Services, Fisher Chevrolet, The Catalyst Group and Wilbur-Ellis.
