    Rosemary graduated from Glenna Park High School. She was a homemaker and artist, previously an airline stewardess and shoe and clothing store owner.  She enjoyed art, travel, family, and reading.  The Rosemary C. Hawkey Memorial Scholarship is for students pursuing an art or education degree.

    Above anything, Heriberto Amaya Solano was a family man who sought to share and learn from others, in any moment.  The Heriberto Amaya Solano Memorial Scholarship honors his life and memory.  The scholarship will support students in construction trades, culinary arts, or philosophy majors, because these are the fields in which Heriberto worked and found value within.

    The YCRWC-Frank and Pat Cooper Scholarship was established in 2012.  Frank and Pat Cooper, active volunteers in the Yuma community and dedicated supporters of the Yuma County Republican Party, were named Yuma County Citizens of the Year in 2008 honoring their involvement in civic causes and commitment to the community.  They will always be known for their generous spirits and many, many hours of service which touched the lives of so many people in Yuma.
